Time and Billing for ACT!

If your business bills for it's time and you are using Sage ACT!, Time and Billing can greatly improve the speed that you schedule, manage and bill for your work.

Time and Billing for ACT! is a 3rd Party add-on for Sage ACT! developed by Xact Software. It integrates with the MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero and MYOB Exo links for ACT! as well. This is important as once you have completed a job using Time and Billing in ACT!, with these accounting links you can convert a completed job into an invoice. This saves a lot of double entry of data from your manual job management system to your accounting package.

The main advantage of using Time and Billing is being able to schedule jobs straight into your Calendar in ACT!. The Sage ACT! Calendar is very easy to see which of your staff has availability and then schedule a job for them. Time and Billing for ACT! then automatically creates a job that can record additional job details.

New Features for Time and Billing for ACT!

  • New! Email Support: Users can now send Time & Billing tickets as emails using custom templates - templates merge Time & Billing fields plus any contact field (including custom fields).
  • New! Direct Calendar Integration: When creating an activity in the calendar view users will get a prompt to create a Time & Billing ticket
  • New! Recording to History: Users can now choose to include either the task result, or the task description and task result in the ACT! History tab
  • New! Internal notes: Users can now add notes to Time & Billing tickets for internal reference
