ACT! to MYOB Accounting Link

The Xact Link for ACT! is an application that allows ACT! users to connect to MYOB Products* data files.

This provides ACT! users with the ability to view MYOB customer card record information from within ACT!, as well as the ability to enter / update card details in MYOB from ACT! Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB Products* is an ACT! plug-in. When installed it operates as a Tab within the contact detail view within ACT! In addition it provides a new menu item within the Tools menu in ACT! The application can work for multi-user or single users.

Establish a workflow between the sales team (front office) and the accounting team (back office). Thus smoothing the sales process and reducing the overhead and inefficiency of passing verbal or written instruction from sales people to accounts people.

Provide customer facing sales staff with the ability to monitor a customer’s account, with aged receivables details ( 30, 60, 90 day display). This allows sales staff to assist accounts with credit control, keeping on top of overdue accounts at the time a customer is on the phone requesting another.

Eliminate dual entry of records. Import MYOB account records, in bulk, or individually into ACT! to immediately populate your new ACT! CRM with established records from accounts. A link is created between the ACT! record and the MYOB record so that updating from either product is simple. In updating from ACT! you have the option to view the account record in MYOB prior to committing the changes to MYOB.

Previous releases of the Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB work with ACT! 11.0 (2009) and below. If you are running ACT! 11.0 (2009) or below please contact us and we can provide you with a compatible version of the link.

The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB AccountRight is not compatible with ACT! Premium for Web

The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB AccountRight is compatible with the following versions of MYOB:

• MYOB AccountRight Basic (18,19,19.5,19.6)
• MYOB AccountRight Plus (18,19,19.5,19.6)
• MYOB AccountRight Premier (12,12.5 , 19,19.5,19.6)
• MYOB AccountRight Enterprise (6,6.5,19,19.5,19.6)

Important note: if you want to set up the Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB in a client-server (network) environment you will need to be running either Premier or Enterprise versions of MYOB AccountRight.

The Xact Link for ACT! and MYOB also requires that the ODBC direct drivers to be installed on the machine where your MYOB AccountRight data file and program are installed, these drivers are usually installed by default but if they’re not then you will need to install them manually.
